Post 010: What the Blog Will actually be about for the class.

Today, I thought I heard a moped, but realized it was just an airplane as it flew overhead.
For some reason, it made we want to taste whiskey.

Toiling in the sun

Post 008: Really, I also think Andy Kaufman did a decent amount of LSD.

This blog will introduce you to the idea of infinity.

"8."

  Look at it sideways.  There you go.  Here's a fun fact:
Leonardo DaVinci is Stewie Griffin's...uh, he is him?

That's for all of you other people who quit watching Family Guy recently, but wanted someone to spoil the finale just enough to watch it online.

From a summer bungalo in Madison, WI
Celebrating Christmas Vacation,

Last Word:

"Please Remove All Cellophane and Vibrators From Your Pockets."

I need to go to bed or else I'll end up getting some sleep."

P.S.  Oh, it was actually, liek, the one right before the season finale, but the one after it wasn't really it, since it was a already a short movie: eightiessitcomsituationhumourfuntimeskit:

I wonder if Jonah Hill reads my blog...

No seriously ... Nostalgia needs sleep.

In the coming tides of autistic hipsters, melancholy, satrical, whimsical movies, and sweetly setting stars, there exists one man, a salty, bearded sea captain who dared to venture out into (and inside?) the the great alone.  He trusted that his fellow conspirators would agree, "the rest is not to be read."  But his Diary instead became the display of the ghoulish masquerade that marauded its pale shadow across the walls of the burning gallery.  These are the blogs of the man who knew it all in an age where he would do nothing:

Post 007: Letting a Dead Dog Be Beaten

Do you have a #Dawg who looks tired all the time?  Is he too blind to walk properly?  Can he get up at all, or are his hips and joints all discombobulated from the generations of selective breeding s/he and his/her ancestors suffered?  Maybe you should look into hiring a professional killer.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen.  Your local veterinarian can take care of your suffering pup in a jiffy.  This article

Post 006 - New Epi of South Park is Up, 1336 600613

For all you altBROS who are looking to get into Tweenwave (See:Dubstep).   This episode,  is easily the best of the season, unless you ask me again, in which case I would say it was the one where all the boys measure their penises and post the results publicly.
This 1 says a lot of meaningful stuff about perception, generations, and Bob Dylan.

Still shitting all over everything, @TreyParker (and @MattStone) say a big and important "fuck you" to everything with this one.  Based on the seemingly self-referential content of the episode, which ends with a segment very similar in tone to the bank vault episode of #FamilyGuy (sorry to compare, #fanbois) where Brian eats fresh poo from Stewie's diaper and reveals his secret desire to 'commit' suicide.

In case anybody missed me comparing FG and South Park, here's another one, with some contrasting.  The only major complaint I have about how SP has been advancing is the increasingly inconsistent voice acting.  I say this primarily of the voices down by Trey Parker, who seems to be growing disconnected from his work on the show, in a creative sense and a personal sense.  I'm sure it also has to do with losing various cast members, creating new characters, etc.  Over on Family Guy, I think we are seeing the decline of the series in animation quality and (somehow) further deterioration of good jokes using good material.  I can, with the utmost sincerity, say that I think this has to with how things are being run over at a Post-MacFarlane studio headquarters.

This is @Carnifex answering the question this thread poses on the #KingdomofLoathing forums.

Is #ironicleetspeak ever funny?

It's not funny per se, but it has its uses.When you see it, you immediately know the contents of the thread and/or post. I use it to give posts a certain tone; I don't think it's ever been funny in itself.

Word.

And that's also the last word.

No way, BRO!

Okay, yeah.
Here.

This is a guide to learning one of the best languages out there for beginning programmers.  In very explicit instructions, it will guide you through the obstacle course that is untrained, amateur nerds who want a hobby to make them seem ALT.  (Sorry, the #HRO mimickry thing isn't vibing quite right. "No that's cool, man.  Just ride the chillwave all the way to #Carlesand.")

<Carlspeak>
<Hey isn't this from Animorphs?>
<What?>
<Thoughtspeak, the method of speaking telepathically while temporarily transformed into another species.  Also, it was the language developed by the Andalites, a sentient race of strange centaur-like beings who...>
<I guess I should just read the book, huh?
<Oh, stop that.>
<Stop What?>
<Now you're just acting like Garrison Keillor.>
<Who's that?>
<A guy on talk...ah, would you cut it out?>
<Cut wut out?>
<The thoughtspeak>
"Absolutely not."
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"Don't be coy"
"Well, can Garrison Keillor use thoughtspeak?"
"Well...no, uh...no I guess not."
*Sound effect
"Well, I think that proves my point"
"What, that the Simpsons did it?"
"No"
"Heh?"
"What?"
"Yeah"
"No, South Park did it."
"Oh."

Fun fact:
I wanted to name my dog

Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill

but he only answered to

Sampson.

Here's a cool article from Slate magazine by Elizabeth Weingarten about the growing number of directors who felt that they could Xpress themselves by making garage-studio films with consumer-grade equpiment and are now making it big in The Hills.

CHANGE SUBJECT BACK...

I feel that the Pythonwiki beginners guide introduces those of us with almost-sortofa-virgin-whomighthavefingeredachickonetime.com fingers to a language that has incredible ease-of-use, plenty of utility, and other #CoolStuff.  Not only in the sense of developing strong skills and understanding of the language, but also in understanding how computer nerd communities should share information.  Freely, but in an organized fashion.
